Don’t go sheep-less

A sheepshead in the hand is worth two under the dock.

My main goal this week is to try to educate you, our loyal readers and avid fishermen, on the fine art of sheepshead fishing. You may not believe it, but there is definitely a fine art to consistently putting good numbers of the infamous bait-stealing sheepshead in your cooler.
Also this week, I would like to inform you guys about a very special event that will be held this Saturday, March 16, right here in little old Port Charlotte. Now, in my mind I’ve been tossing back and forth whether I should teach you some tricks and tactics about catching sneaky sheepies first or tell you about this reel-y cool event that’s taking place at 4425-D Tamiami Trail. My only fear about telling you about this huge tent event first is that you won’t finish reading the rest of my article, which I feel could actually help you put more of those sneaky convict fish on ice. Because I’m not very good at keeping secrets (it’s really not a secret) I’ve decided to tell you about this awesome tackle sale under a tent this Saturday just off of Tamiami Trail right here in Port Charlotte first. Now If you’re wondering if they will be selling tents, the answer is no, I think (maybe they will be, I’m not really sure). Did I mention it’s at Fishin’ Franks? No? OK, it’s at Fishin’ Franks.
