“Dad! The stereo won’t come on. Dad! I downloaded some new songs on my iPod for the boat. Dad! Fix it, please!”
At this point, I usually pull the brim of my hat down a little lower over my eyes and pretend I don’t hear my daughter’s increasingly excited words. Although a functioning stereo on my boat may be the top priority for my kids, it is not mine. Honestly, it is down there with tying the wakeboard ski rope at just the right length.
