Ants! They’re everywhere! My wife called me to the kitchen to show me a line of nearly microscopic ants running from our kitchen window to the bottom of the cabinets. I squinted at this tiny parade and tried to locate the source of the intrusion. After a bit of searching, I found the entry at the corner of a window frame. No problem, I thought — I can just put a little caulking in the tiny ant entrance and problem solved.
I went out to my unkempt work bench to get some caulk. I gazed down at the myriad of different tubes and cartridges of caulking that stuck out of a coffee can. Decisively, I grabbed a tube that still had the wood screw plugging the tip. For this application I really did not care what kind of caulk it was, as long as it was white, still squishy and came out of the end of the tube when I squeezed it. Two minutes later, it was done. No more ant parade.
