Four VHS weightlifters qualify for state finals

The Venice High girls weightlifting team had four lifters qualify for the state meet with their performances at Friday’s district meet at Port Charlotte.
The top three lifters in each weight class advanced to the state finals, which will be held Feb. 9 in Kissimmee.
