The Venice High girls basketball team closed out its 2012-13 home schedule with a 41-36 loss to Sarasota Christian Monday night.

It was the second consecutive game in which the Indians offense has had trouble putting points on the board, after a three-game winning streak a couple weeks ago made it seem as though the young Indians had solved their early-season struggles.
