Marie T. Grigas Hopkins, nee Cape, age 87, of Sarasota, formally of Brookhaven, Pa., passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013.

She was born Dec. 20, 1925, to the late George and Elizabeth Cape.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Caston T. Grigas and Henry Hopkins; granddaughter Deborah DiNardo; brother Joseph Cape; and sisters Elizabeth Carey and Agnes Ruckle.

She is survived by son Thomas (Mary) Grigas; daughter Stephanie (William) Selfridge; grandchildren Adam and Amanda Grigas; step-grandchildren Susan Jackson and Linda DuPree; step-great-grandchildren Josh and Justin DiNardo and Cache DuPree; and many nieces and nephews.

Marie was a membr of the American Legion and Venice Seniors Without Partners for more than 30 years. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and dinner with friends.

Services: Services are to be held at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Pa., at a later date.
