Dennis W. Dancho passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013. He was born Dec.24, 1947.

Dennis was a retired journeyman, IBEW Local 697, in Hammond/Gary, Ind.

He moved to Venetian Falls, Venice, and for nearly five years he was the happiest he had ever been. Here in Southwest Florida the residents greet those newly settling neighbors with a heartfelt greeting, “Welcome to Paradise.”

In heaven they will be greeting him by name, “Welcome to Paradise, Denny.”

So many loved ones wait for him there: his only child, Jeff; father, George; dear friend Bob; so many more. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his wife, Janey; mother, Mary Jane; sister, Renee (Glenn); brother George (Beverly); brother Keith (Holly); and cherished friends in Florida and Indiana. Easing his passage to that next place were his sisters-in-law, Margaret Sabo and Holly Dancho, who cared for him with love and tenderness alongside Tammy and all the angels of Tidewell Hospice. Our family is so grateful to them.

Services: Dennis requested that his ashes rest in the sands of the Gulf shore, never to miss a sunset or storm or soaring bird. Who knows, he might be tickled by the tiny feet of turtle hatchlings. Welcome to Paradise, Denny. Rest in peace.
