Joyce (Mudge) Dagg, 81, of Venice, passed away at home Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, after a long illness, with her loving husband, George Dagg at her side.

Joyce was born in Milton, Pa., Jan. 9, 1931, daughter of Joseph and Hazel Young.

Joyce was predeceased by her first husband, Marshall R. Mudge Sr., and sister JoAnn Young. She is survived by two sons, Marshall R. Mudge Jr. and fianceé, Ann Fabrycki, of Springfield, Mass., and George J. Mudge of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Evelyn Young of Milton, Pa., and Rose M. Penner of Elmira, N.Y.; a brother, Joseph Young and his wife, Mary, of Jersey Shore, Pa.; and two grandchildren, Erica Hartley of Sarasota and Eric Mudge of Bradenton. Joyce loved boating, fishing and spending time with her husband and grandchildren on the Myakka River.

Services: A Memorial Mass will be held at 4 p.m. May 4, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Broadway St. Milton, Pa.
