“We are very confident the market is going to improve, aside from the fact prices will go up, but we are not going to see huge increases, because there are still bank-owned, short sales out there and people selling their houses just to unload them,” said Diane Fuchs, the new president of the Venice Area Board of Realtors.

Although interest rates are at historic lows, the prediction is they will go up a tiny bit, but at 4.5 percent, they remain low.
