Renovation leads to opening of Ramada Hotel Venice

Following an estimated $8 million renovation by owner Dr. Gary Kompothecras over a two-year period, the Holiday House hotel was taken down to the shell, walls were replaced and electricity and plumbing upgraded. Everything, including the flooring, was replaced.
The difference is dramatic, and with the renovation came a new name — the Ramada Hotel Venice, located at 425 U.S. 41 Bypass North across from TJ Maxx.
