Om Shrestha has opened Resort Style, 319 W. Venice Ave., selling authentic apparel from Nepal, India, Indonesia and Hawaii, together with handbags, ponchos and umbrellas. There is a selection of beachwear, towels, shoes, sandals and sunglasses. Souvenirs include Venice mugs, magnets, key chains, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and gift items such as sharks’ tooth necklaces.

From Nepal, he graduated from St. Lawrence University, New York, in economics and mathematics, then decided to open his own business two years ago in Tampa’s Ybor City. Venice is his second location.
