Despite hours of questioning, attorneys have picked only 39 potential juror candidates suitable to serve during an anticipated three-week double murder trial involving two Venice victims.
By the end of the day Tuesday, about 200 candidates had been interviewed, but few said they could honestly weigh the two options in the penalty phase of the trial — either life in prison without parole or the death penalty if accused killer John Allen Lee is found guilty.
