Developer to pay for minimal
maintenance
NORTH PORT — Gran Paradiso developer Sam Rodgers agreed Tuesday to fund a minimum maintenance program for the struggling development, paying $11,500 a month to keep the grass cut, the lake clean and outside lights on, according to Todd Wodraska, West Villages Improvement District manager.
Wodraska said following a WVID meeting at North Port City Hall Tuesday that had Rodgers decided not to fund the program, then all maintenance efforts would have been abandoned at the development.
