PORT CHARLOTTE — It was basically a formality when Tampa Bay named David Price its starter for opening day Tuesday, but the announcement still holds
meaning for the left-hander.
Price won the Cy Young Award last season, dominating the American League with a 20-5 record, 2.56 ERA and 205 strikeouts in 211 innings.
