Riptide warning during Spring Break

The Florida Division of Emergency Management issued a warning this week of an elevated danger of riptides and wildfires during Spring Break.

Onshore winds and 3- to 5-foot breaking waves will generate a high risk of rip currents along all Atlantic Coast beaches from Nassau through Miami-Dade County.
