Toll lanes possible for River Road

As Sarasota and Charlotte counties look to improve and widen River Road from Englewood to Interstate 75, two options include making portions of the road a toll road or even turning the road into a state road.
However, any significant changes could be as far away as 15 years, Sarasota County officials said Friday.
