NORTH PORT — It’s been a year with little arguing among the neighbors dubbed the Hatfields and McCoys of the North Port Estates neighborhood — but the feud is on again.

On more than 87 acres is Henry Jakimer, and on
8 acres is his 16-year
neighbor, Karl Frisch,
whose back yard abuts Jakimer’s property. Frisch built a 9-foot compost dirt pile on his Tropicaire Boulevard property and fires guns at it periodically. But when he and his friends do, Jakimer says it sounds like “World War III.”
