Local man gets tested, avoids heart attack
Chris Rozansky, the Venice Municipal Airport manager, went to several doctors after suffering chest pains but was told he was okay. Trusting his instincts, he visited a cardiologist and learned he was a prime candidate for a heart attack. He now wants others to know his story.
As an avid runner Chris Rozansky was at the top of his game, but after heart disease hit him at just 34 years old, he wants to spread the message of awareness and survival.
“You name it. I did it — kayaking, cycling, backpacking, mountain climbing and my favorite: running marathons,” Rozansky said. “There wasn’t anything that could stop me.”
