The dream of expanding a city archive building into something more substantial — a state-of-the-art history museum that conveys more than facts and figures — is closer to becoming a reality.
Museum supporters this week unveiled a concept plan, complete with estimated budget, that appeared to please city leaders. The proposed $6.36 million project would not use any taxpayer funds.
