SARASOTA COUNTY — If you’ve ever wondered where your property tax dollars really go and what they’re used for, you can now get a good look with the Sarasota County Annual Report that details the accomplishments, activities and expenditures of the county’s departments.

“This report tells the story of the county, what we do for the public and the different types of services we offer,” county Administrator Randall Reid said. “It’s a tool that people can learn more about the county with and they can also use to contact us for services. It also provides accountability and demonstrates the value that citizens are receiving for their taxpayer dollars.”
