Courtney Kern, a Venice High School junior, received a gold key at the annual Scholastic Artists & Writers show, Jan. 31, at Ringling College of Art & Design. Junior Olivia Russo received the silver key, and senior Kassidy Boles received an honorable mention.

For 90 years, the awards have recognized the exceptional and most talented teens.
