Chamber office getting an ‘extreme’ makeover

The offices were emptied Friday and are receiving a much-needed "extreme" makeover this weekend, with chamber members, board members and other volunteers donating their time and money to rehab the location at 15141 Tamiami Trail.

NORTH PORT — Come Monday, the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce office is going to look completely different.
By late Friday morning, a group of chamber members, representatives from the chamber board and other volunteers already had moved out almost all the furniture and removed every scrap of carpeting from the location at
15141 Tamiami Trail.
