NORTH PORT — City staff is encouraging residents to show up for a community meeting on Tuesday to hear plans for a new proposed trash and recycling transfer station.

The meeting, which is being held in city commission chambers, will detail locations for the proposed site, and North Port Solid Waste Manager Monica Bramble hopes as many members of the public will attend as possible.
