Tina and Brad Daniels hopped a plane from Fort Wayne, Ind. to Tampa at dawn on Frida. They rented a car to have lunch at Marker 4 Friday and planned to return Saturday before flying back to Fort Wayne.

A letter from the owner greeted Bill and Donna Edwards and son Jason when they sat down for lunch Thursday at the Marker 4 Oyster Bar & Restaurant at Fisherman’s Wharf. They had just flown in from Colorado Springs, Colo.

“Every time we come to visit my mother in Nokomis, we come here first,” Edwards said. “We are always here on the first day and the last day (of our vacation).”
