NORTH PORT — The city’s new General Services director is looking forward to starting her new position next month.

Robin Carmichael, 45, is coming to North Port from Palm Bay, Fla., where she has held four positions beginning in 2004, most recently serving as administrative services manager, overseeing Utilities, Customer Service and Billing and Collections, where she oversaw a staff of 15.
