NORTH PORT — Miltoni Moreland picked up four students from North Port High School on Monday afternoon after they called her and said they were scared of a bomb threat posted on Facebook a few hours earlier.
Within minutes of the ominous posting, about 100 students began notifying school officials that an “anonymous group” created a Facebook page or hacked into a page titled Marcus Alan Freeman. The threat said students should “watch where they step in bathrooms at the school” and watch out for “big explosions” while opening lockers and “the whole school comes down in one big explosion tomorrow morning.”
