City of Venice officials recanted an edict on Tuesday, allowing residents to place their chairs out more than 24 hours prior to the Holiday Parade.
The city of Venice on Tuesday recanted a notice sent out a day earlier warning spectators not to put their chairs out too early for the city’s holiday parades.
The street parade is Saturday at 7 p.m. through downtown Venice; pre-parade entertainment starts at 5 p.m. The boat parade is Dec. 1 through the Intracoastal Waterway. People had already put chairs out for both when the city issued its warning Monday.
