PUNTA GORDA — Charlotte High School didn’t waste time in its regular-season opener with visiting Cypress Lake, scoring four goals in the first 20 minutes on Tuesday night.

The Tarpons rolled to an easy 8-0 victory over the Panthers in a match that ended with 14 minutes, 13 seconds left when Kirun Kadiwar kicked in an eight-yard shot to clinch the victory via the eight-goal advantage rule.
