SARASOTA COUNTY — The table at the Sarasota-Manatee Metropolitan Organization has officially expanded with North Port City Commissioner Michael Treubert’s appointment to the new nonvoting advisory seat for the city of North Port on the board.

“This is very important, since we are the largest city in Sarasota County — and in the region,” Treubert said Monday.
