NORTH PORT — City residents and those in surrounding areas are advised not to sleep in this Sunday morning. T.J. Maxx is opening its doors for “Maxxinistas” from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. in Cocoplum Village Shops.
Officials at the store at 18059 Tamiami Trail, between Sumter and Salford boulevards,
and at TJX Cos. Inc.,
T.J. Maxx’s parent company, have been close-mouthed about the store’s opening. Unlike the other Cocoplum stores, including next-door neighbor Ross, T.J. Maxx did not have a “soft,” or unofficial, opening.
