SARASOTA — Charlotte County held its own Saturday at the Tri-County Championships in Sarasota.

Helped by points from diving, which few schools competed in, and with swimmers in nearly every final, the Charlotte High School boys finished second out of 17 teams from Charlotte, Manatee and Sarasota counties, and the Charlotte girls finished third out of 16 teams. The Lemon Bay boys finished fifth and the Manta girls finished sixth.
