BUDAPEST, Hungary — Englewood resident Mike Schyck won gold at the Veterans World Championships on Friday.

Schyck, wrestling in the freestyle 85-kilogram weight class in Division B (41–45 years old), won four matches, including a pin of Sergey Pogorelov of Russia in the final. He also beat eventual bronze medalist Kevin Pine of Las Vegas, Nev., as well as opponents from Hungary and South Africa.
