Rather than risk potential delays, detours and access restrictions associated with the widening of the Venice Bypass, a business owner has announced plans to relocate.

“They will say two years, but it is never — always four or six years — so that was the straw which broke the camel’s back,” said Becky Wojdula, owner of Simplicity Salon & Day Spa, 525-A North U.S. 41 Bypass in the Bird Bay Plaza. “I think now is a good time to move. Let’s do it now.”
