County finds
funds for
Legacy Park

Sarasota County’s Board of County Commissioners has earmarked $800,000, mostly from Surtax III funds and some from general funds, to kick-start construction of Venice’s Legacy Park.
The city signed off on an interlocal agreement recently that lays out the role and responsibility of each jurisdiction to get it done.
