Board already setting precedent for subcontractors

The Venice Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals brought two licensed contractors before it this week — a plumber for not immediately pulling permits and a shutter company for doing electrical work it isn’t licensed to do.

It’s the first time the reconstituted board addressed work by licensed contractors. In previous meetings it focused on unlicensed contractors.
