The 9/11 Victims and Fallen Military Heroes Memorial takes a major step toward becoming reality Tuesday at 11 a.m., with a ground-breaking ceremony at Patriots Park at the northern intersection of U.S. 41 Business and the bypass.

The memorial will recognize the victims of Sept. 11 as well as the service members who have fallen since.
