Commissioners OK $75,000 park study

NORTH PORT — City commissioners, with a look toward the future, authorized a $75,000 siting and engineering study Friday that would enable the city to create an environmental park.

Funding for the study would come from Solid Waste reserves budgeted for this fiscal year.
