SARASOTA COUNTY — United Way of Sarasota County and United Way of Tampa Bay, which serves Hillsborough and Pinellas counties, have merged and will operate as United Way Suncoast beginning Sunday.

“The United Way board and staff are very excited,” said Katie Knight, acting president and CEO of United Way of Sarasota County. “Our funded agencies are also extremely supportive.”
