NORTH PORT — TOPSoccer, a free soccer program for physically and mentally challenged young athletes, is gearing up for its second season, which begins Feb. 25.
The program, which will run through April 28 and takes place at the Narramore Sports Complex off Glenallen Boulevard, targets kids in the area between the ages of 4-19. Athletes are paired with older “buddies” each week, who help guide them through soccer activities. The kids will receive a uniform shirt, soccer ball, backpack and water bottle. Buddies also receive a shirt.
