Woodley announces retirement

Acting Venice City Manager Nancy Woodley, following city council's recent selection of Edward Lavallee as its next city manager, retired this week. Her last day was Friday.

Outgoing Acting City Manager Nancy Woodley didn’t waste any time this week clearing out her desk to make room for the next city manager.
On Tuesday she announced her retirement. Her last day in office was Friday. She will be on leave until March 2, when her retirement officially takes effect.
