CHS suffers
second-half heartbreak
BRADENTON — It wasn’t the end that got to the Charlotte High School girls soccer players on Monday night. It was the goal by Braden River’s Carly Provan 15 seconds before the final whistle that seemed to do the trick.
Provan split a pair of Charlotte defenders with an insightful long ball from midfield and scored the denouement in Braden River’s 3-1 victory against the Tarpons in the District 4A-11 tournament.
