ROTONDA WEST — A man faces fraud charges after he allegedly used a credit/debit swiping device in conjunction with a cellphone to withdraw nearly $8,000 from another man’s checking and credit card accounts, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

Christopher Lee Carroll, 41, 7300 block of Mullen Lane, was charged Monday with four counts of forging checks, three counts of credit card fraud and grand theft.
