Report: Quartet charged with making fake credit cards
PUNTA GORDA — Authorities arrested four people Tuesday on multiple fraud charges after discovering an elaborate credit card fraud operation in their rental van, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Arrested were Ahmad Faahim Tanksley, 25, and Abdur Raahim Salaam Wilson, 21, both of Miramar, Fla.; Kame Patrice Jones, 21, of Miami; and Gabriella C. Harris, 20, of Binghamton, N.Y. All four were charged with dealing in stolen property, fraudulent use of a credit card, trafficking in counterfeit credit cards, possession of credit card making equipment and possession of a credit card re-encoder. Jones was additionally charged with possession of marijuana.
