Robert Thomas Runciman
Robert “Bob” Thomas Runciman, 86, of Carmel, Ind., passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013.
Born Oct. 28, 1926, in Indianapolis, Ind., he was the son of John James and Margaret (nee Ferguson) Runciman.
Bob was the owner of Boatland, Inc., a company that he and his wife founded in 1961. He was a longtime member of the Punta Gorda Yacht Club, a member of the IBEW, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, and was an U.S. Army Air Corp veteran.
Survivors include his children, Gary (Sue Casey) Runciman, Robert Lee (Barb) Runciman, Tammy (Perry) Anderson; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Runciman; brother, Jack Runciman; and parents, John James and Margaret (nee Ferguson) Runciman.
