Terry and Donna Smith have a mission to establish a free, faith-based drug and alcohol rehabilitation center for those who cannot afford it. They hope to accomplish their goal with proceeds from the recently opened consignment and discount family store, People Helping People with Christ, Inc., located at 103 E. Anne St., which was formerly the site of the Salvation Army store in Punta Gorda.

They have a small store with the same name in their native Massachusetts.
