ENGLEWOOD — The rooms were bare, but 19 people turned out Thursday for a sneak peek of the new archive at the expanded Englewood-Charlotte Public Library.

“It’s all good,” said Mary Kay Chadwick Krantz whose family members first settled in the Englewood area in the 1890s. She sees the archive as an opportunity for tourists and new residents to learn about Englewood’s past.
