To kick off 2013, a New Year’s Eve Extravaganza was held starting Monday evening at Fishermen’s Village in Punta Gorda, with family-friendly fun for all ages. The free festivities included live music and dancing; face-painting; colorful airbrushed tattoos; a stilt-walker, Way Too Tall Torrie; and lots more. Here, in preparation for the festivities, Bryce Frushour gets the works from stylist Brian Rowlands of Charles of the Village Salon in the village. He is getting his hair colored blue with sparkles on top.
