Locals miss out on semis

LAKELAND — Bad luck didn’t discriminate on the first day of the state wrestling finals.
Between Lemon Bay High School’s seven, Venice’s five and three each from North Port and Charlotte, not a single wrestler was able to advance to the semifinals on Friday at the Lakeland Center.
