DeSoto County High School had all the momentum in the final minutes of the first half of the Region 2A-3 semifinal against Berkeley Prep. When goalkeeper Edgar Olvera couldn’t handle a shot from Daniel Felman, a DeSoto County defender slid to knock it away and the large crowd, already loud, got louder.
