Robert F. Osborne

Robert F. Osborne, 84, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013.

He was born June 14, 1928, in Troy, N.Y.

Robert served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired as supervisor with Niagara Mohawk Power Plant after 35 years of service. Robert and his wife Gloria moved to Port Charlotte in 1988 from Valatie, N.Y. He was a member of the Elks in Watervliet, N.Y.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Gloria; daughters, Sharon Osborne of Waterford, N.Y., Sandra Peck of Cohoes, N.Y., and Sheila (David) Szostowski of West Chester, Pa.; son, Robert (Laurie) Osborne of Port Charlotte; and grandchildren, Nicole, Melissa, Cory, Stacy, Matthew, Ashley, Lisa, Candace, Holly, Sean and Kaitlyn.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 1441 Spear St., Port Charlotte, FL 33948.

Arrangements were made in Port Charlotte.
